On a gentle NW-facing slope. Described as a circular area (diam. 46m) defined by an earthen bank (Gannon 1972). It is not visible at ground level in pasture, but is visible as a vegetation mark (int. diam. c. 50m) defined by a single fosse feature in aerial photographs (ASIAP (186) 35-7), and it is also visible on OSI images (c. 2010). It is now a tarred road (Wth 5m; L c. 2km) with a field bank and hedge on the S side and a wire fence on the N. In a low-lying landscape. Oval scrub-covered area (dims 46.7m N-S; 36.4m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 4-5.6m; int. H 0.1-0.3m; ext. H 0.3-1.7m) separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 8-9.5m; Wth of base 1.7-5.8m; D 0.2m at E to 1.2m at N) from an outer bank (Wth 2-4.1m; H 0.2m-0.5m).
