On a low E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered but poached area (diam. 20m E-W; 19m N-S) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 2.65-3.4m; int. H 0.1-0.35m; ext. H 0.6-0.65m) N-E-SSW which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.65m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth 3.1m; D 0.2m) NE-SE, visible as band of reeds (Wth 3-4m) elsewhere. There is no visible entrance. The entrance was not identified but a rectangular, grass-covered enclosure or annexe (RO016-116003-) (dims 13m N-S; 9m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; H 0.2-0.4m) is attached at W.
