H 0.5m) separated by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 3.5-4m; Wth of base 2-2.2m) from an outer bank (Wth 3.3-4.1m; int. H 0.7-0.9m; ext. H 0.3-0.8m). There is no identifiable original entrance (max. ext. diam. 44.6m NNE-SSW). Gannon (1972) records a possible structure in the N interior, but there is no clear evidence of this now. Rath (RO029-146001-) is c. 200m to the NW. D-shaped grass-covered area (int. dims 28.7m WNW-ESE; 26.6m NNE-SSW) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 4-5.2m; H 0.2m) NW-E-SW which is best preserved (Wth 3.3m; H 0.5m) SE-SW. There is no visible fosse but there is an entrance gap (Wth 3m) at NE. The monument is cut by a NNE-SSW field wall at W and does not survive W of this feature. A rectangular house-site (RO029-146002-) (int. dims 10.9m NW-SE; 3.5m NE-SW) defined by the base of grass-covered stone walls (Wth 0.5-0.7m; H 0.2m) is c. 50m to the SE. Rath (RO029-076001-) is c. 200m to the SE. D 0.2-0.6m) on all sides, with an outer bank (Wth 4.7m; H 0.1-0.2m) at SW. The perimeter of the platform at SW is overlain by a NW-SE drystone wall and hedge (max. ext. dims 49.3m NW-SE; 41.5m NE-SW).
