On a low-lying landscape c. 150m NE of the SE end of Lough Cronin. This is a circular well (diam. 4m; D 1.7m) known locally as Toberakay, where patterns were held on the three Sundays before Garland Sunday (Kelly 1907, 5) which was in late July or early August. There is presently no evidence of veneration. There is a grass-covered subcircular hut-site or penitential cairn (RO045-222002-) (int. dims 3.9m x 3.1m) defined by a grass-covered wall footing (Wth 0.3-0.5m; H 0.2-0.6m) immediately to the SE. On a slight S-facing slope in a low-lying landscape. Rectangular grass-covered platform (dims of base 11.2m N-S; c. 8m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.4m) at N, and scarps at E (H 0.3m) and S (H 0.5m) which merge into the slope at W. There is a mound (diam. 3.8m; H 0.8m) at the W end of the bank at N, and a cairn of field stones at E, but there are no grave-markers, although it is known locally to be a children's burial ground. In the wall of an outhouse on the N shore of Lough Croan. The heads of two ogee-headed windows (each: Wth 0.38m; H 0.25m) that came from the tower house of Cornalee (RO048-001----) c. 330m to the SW are built into the outer face of the W wall. On the N shore of Culleenirwan Lough (dims c. 900m NE-SW; c. 100-250m NW-SE), a large turlough. Circular domed and grass-covered area (diam. 47m E-W; 44.4m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5-5.5m; int. H 0.3-0.7m; ext. H 0.6-0.8m), with external facing-stones WSW-W. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. The interior is damaged by quarrying at E and S, and the perimeter is destroyed by quarries NE-SE. Marked only on the 1915 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a rise in an undulating landscape. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 27.4m ENE-SSW; 24.3m NNW-SSE) defined by earthen bank (Wth 4.2-4.5m; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. H 1.1-1.5m) incorporated into a field bank SE-S-NW, with a fragment of a fosse (Wth of top 6m; Wth of base 3m; D 0.2m) at SW. It is defined by a scarp (H 0.3m) NW-N-SE with a spoil mound (diam. 6m; H 0.5m) NE of the centre. There is no visible entrance. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

Located on a rise in a low-lying landscape c. 150m from the SE shore of Lough Croan, which is called Loughanabrag on the Strafford map of c. 1636 (Simington 1949, Athlone(2)). The Castle Quarter of Corenegee also known as Lisnaguill, amounting to 154 acres, was owned by Richard Dillon in 1641 and he retained most of it in 1662. He was probably connected with the Dillons of Lough Glynn (RO020-003001-), and he owned over 600 acres elsewhere in Cam parish in 1641 and in 1662 (ibid. 99-102). This is a rectangular grass-covered platform (dims of top 12.7m E-W; 8.4m N-S; dims of base 16m E-W; 13m N-S) defined by scarps (H 0.3m generally to 0.5m at E), known locally as O'Kelly's Castle (Gannon 1972). Traces of the walls can be identified underfoot at W (Wth c. 1.3m) and E (Wth c. 1m). A medieval limestone head (RO048-001001-) (H 0.17m; Wth 0.12m; T 0.12m), thought locally to have come from this monument, is now in NMI (Rynne 1966-71), and architectural fragments (RO045-240----), including the heads of two ogee-headed windows are incorporated into outbuildings c. 330m to the NE. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, and the W half is overlain by N-S laneway that curves slightly to the W.
