Marked only on the 1914 and 1927 eds. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in a little bay (diam. c. 40m) at the E end of the N shore of Lough Patrick (dims. c. 430m E-W; c. 50-150m N-S), which has a marl bottom. On a slight E-W ridge in a low-lying landscape. Subcircular or D-shaped area (dims 62m N-S; 56m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1m) and outer fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.2m) NE-SE, and a scarp (H 0.2-0.6m) elsewhere. There is an entrance (Wth 1m) at SE.
