On a S-facing slope. An area of about 10 acres (c. 2 ha) close to a pond contains relict field walls consisting of the bases of drystone walls. They form fairly regular rectangular fields (dims c. 60m x c. 30m). No house sites or lazy beds were identified, and they are probably post-medieval. An area of about 18 acres (c. 7.5 ha) with some relict field walls which are hard to distinguish from the eratics strewn on the ground. No lazy beds or house sites or recognisable pattern was noted. On an undulating landscape. This wall (L c. 5km) forms the boundary between Moyfinn, which is the Keogh territory of Taghmaconnell parish, to the S and the parishes of Dysart, which was O'Fallon of Milltown territory, and Cam parish to the N as marked on the Strafford map of Athlone barony c. 1636 (Simington 1949). It is also the boundary between Clonfert and Elphin dioceses. Drystone-built wall (Wth c. 1m; H c. 1.2-1.6m), well-built, but collapsed in places. It is slightly stronger than other walls in the area, frequently with two flush faces, but there is no evidence of an older wall on its line. It is accompanied at its E end by a laneway (L c. 700m) on its N side. Although this follows the line depicted on the Strafford map there is no conclusive evidence that it is the wall represented.
