H 1.1m) and an outer fosse (Wth of top 2.7-3m; Wth of base 1.2m; D 0.4m at N to 0.9m at S) NW-E-WSW. The perimeter has been quarried to form a pond WSW-NW, and there is no visible entrance. At the crest of a small hill overlooking Grange Lough c. 250m to the E. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 23.8m N-S; 20.5m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.2-5.3m; int. H 1.7-1.9m; ext. H 2.3-3.4m) which has been augmented with material dug from the interior (D c. 1m) and the external fosse which is re-cut as a drain (Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 1-1.2m; D 2m). A drain (Wth 1m; D 0.2-1m) has also been cut inside the bank. There is a modern entrance (Wth 2.6m) and causeway (Wth 4m) at SW.
