There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, but the perimeter has been quarried SW-NW. Towards the bottom of a gentle N-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 26.2m N-S; 23.1m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.1m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.6m) ESE-W separated by a fosse (Wth of top 6.4-6.7m; Wth of base 3.5-3.7m; D 1.3-1.7m) from an overgrown outer bank (Wth 4-4.3m; ext. H 0.2-0.3m) E-S-NW. The inner bank is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m at N) W-N-ESE and the outer features are absent NW-E. There is no identifiable original entrance. Crannog (RO020-035----) is c. 220m to the NE, and rath (RO020-034----) is c. 60m to the SE. On the gentle N-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Oval grass and rush-covered area (dims 37.4m E-W; 27.2m N-S) defined by a chord (L 8m) of an earthen bank at SW (Wth 6.7m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H 1.7m) and slight remains of a bank (Wth 3.2m; H 0.2m) ENE-ESE with a scarp (H 1-1.5m) elsewhere. There is a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.4-7.9m; Wth of base 2.7-3.4m; D 0.6m) SSE-NW, and an outer bank (Wth 4.7m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 0.5m) SW-NW, but there is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO020-033----) is c. 60m to the NW and crannog (RO020-035----) is c. 250m to the NNE. The W shore of the reduced lake (dims c. 275m NW-SE; c. 200m NE-SW) is now c. 50m to the NE. Subcircular, flat-topped and grass-covered mound (dims of base 29m N-S; 25.4m E-W; dims. of top 10.3m N-S; 6.4m E-W; H 1.1-1.6m) with stones, but there is no clear indication of artificial construction.
