Towards the top of a gentle S-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 33m NW-SE; 32.5m NE-SW) defined by a collapsed stone spread (Wth 1-2m; int. H 0.5m) ENE-S-WSW and by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.5-3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.4m) elsewhere. There is no identifiable fosse or original entrance, but the perimeter is overlain by a field wall and townland boundary with Cloonacaltry WSW-WNW. Marked only on the 1915 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a curved field boundary (C c. 35m S-N), and situated towards the top of a S-facing slope. A section (L 5.5m) of the outer facing stones of a cashel wall at NW is visible under the E drystone wall of a N-S laneway which circumscribes a circular grass-covered area S-N (diam. c. 30m), but no other evidence of the monument is visible. Rath (RO048-124----) is c. 130m to the WSW, earthwork (RO048-123----) is c. 180m to the NW, and enclosure (RO048-126----) is c. 130m to the NE.
