H 0.4-1.15m). There is no visible entrance (max. ext. diam. 30m E-W). The parish church of Killinvoy, listed as Kilfuymegy in the ecclesiastical taxation of Elphin in 1306 (Ca. doc. Ire. vol. 5, 224). It was impropriate to the abbey of Cloontuskert (RO037-001001-) at the Supression (O'Flanagan 1931 vol. 1, 49). Situated at the bottom of an E-facing slope. The church is a rectangular structure (ext. dims 22.4m E-W; 8.6m N-S) defined by wall footings that had a doorway in the W wall. It is within a wedge-shaped graveyard (RO042-097002-) (dims 48m E-W; 36m N-S at E; 56m N-S at W) defined by masonry walls. A graveslab (RO042-097003-) of Thomas Hinde and Ann Davell with the date 1685 is in the graveyard, and two headstones (RO042-097005-; RO042-097006-) to Loughlin Keogh and Cormack Egan with the dates 1684 and 1699 respectively are just S of the church. A rectangular stoup with the inscription I.M. 1727 is now in Roscommon County Museum. The ring-barrow (RO042-097004-) is c. 50m to the NE. D 0.5m) and outer bank (Wth of base 6-7m; ext. H 0.2-0.4m), with an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.6m; ext. D 0.8m) SE-SW. The monument is curtailed by a N-S drain and field bank at E, and relict field banks and ditches at W and N. Church (RO042-097001-) is c. 50m to the SW. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 22m WNW-ESE) defined by a low bank (Wth c. 4m; H 0.25-0.35m) WNW-NE and slight traces of a fosse (Wth c. 4.5m; D 0.3m) NE-SE, but the perimeter can hardly be traced elsewhere and the interior has been quarried. D-shaped grass and rush-covered area (int. dims 50.2m N-S; c. 32.4m E-W) defined by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 3.5m-4.6m; Wth of base 2.3m-3m; D 0.1m-0.3m) with a stoney entrance causeway (Wth 4.2m) at SE. The W side is truncated by NNW-SSE field drains and banks, and there are tree stumps in the interior, particularly in the area immediately inside the perimeter. It is not marked on any map, but was probably created as a coppice in the later 19th century.
