An irregularly oval, domed and grass-covered area (dims 93m NE-SW; 56m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank best preserved N-ESE (at NE: Wth 6.5m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H 1.85m), with slight traces of an outer fosse (at NE: Wth of top 6m; Wth of base 2.4m; D 0.3m) NNW-NE. The perimeter survives as a low bank (at SW: Wth 2.5-3m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.45m) with slight traces of a possible inner fosse or silted drain (Wth 0.7m) S-NW. There is no identifiable original entrance. The perimeter is disturbed by quarrying ESE-S and overlain by two conjoined rectangular paddocks (dims 8.7m x 4m; 12m x 8m) defined by earthen banks at NW. On a low-lying gently undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 41m NE-SW; 41m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5-7.5m; int. H 0.6-0.7m; ext. H 1.65-2.35m) and an outer flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 7.2-7.7m; Wth of base 2.4-3m; D 1.25m). The entrance (Wth 3.2m) and causeway are at E. The burnt spreads (RO048-181001-; RO048-181003-; RO048-181005-; RO048-181006-), fulacht fia (RO048-181002-) and possible mill (RO048-181004-) are 70-200m distant SE-W. D-shaped scatter of broken and burnt stones in a black matrix (dims 16m NW-SE; 5m NE-SW) visible in a ploughed field, and cut by a WNW-ESE field drain at SW. A portion of the grass-covered mound (dims 10.5m NW-SE; 2m NE-SW; H 0.6m) survives SW of the field drain. Some flints, including a flint javelin head, had been found nearby. Burnt mound (RO048-181001-) is c. 40m to the NW, and the burnt mound (RO048-181003-) is c. 10m to the E. One (L 3.1m; Wth 0.18m; T 07m) has a mortice (dims 0.1m x 0.07m) at either end while the other (L 1.3m; Wth 0.17m; T 0.02m-0.07m) is featureless. They were found c. 50m S of the burnt mound (RO048-181001-), although the precise location is not known. They may have been from a water mill, and what may have been a small millstone was held locally but is now lost.
