A drystone wall and townland boundary survives (L c. 50m) at the W end, but there is no trace of the road which need not be ancient, or the houses. At the crest of a low E-W ridge at its W end. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 28.4m E-W; 26.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.7-4m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 1-1.4m), and a fosse (Wth of top 5.8m; Wth of base 2.5m; D 0.2m) S-SW. The entrance (Wth 2m) is at SE. Rath (RO022-025----) is c. 200m to the ENE. See the attached aerial image taken from the NW. On a rise on the N-facing slope of an E-W ridge. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 34.4m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.7m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.9m) NE-E-SE and by a scarp (H 2m) NW-NE. The perimeter is a straight E-W earthen bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1m; L 14m) at S, and the monument has been quarried at W. The fosse is represented by a band of reeds (Wth 1.6-2.2m) NW-E-SE, and the entrance (Wth 3.5m) and causeway (Wth 2m) are at E. Rath (RO022-024----) is c. 200m to the WSW. On the floor of an E-W valley. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 38.6m N-S; 38.6m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 4.5-5.3m; int. H 0.3m W-N to 1m E-S; ext. H 1.5-1.8m), and traces of a fosse visible as a band of rushes (Wth 2m) at N and SE-S. There are entrances at SSE (Wth 3.6m) and NE (Wth 1.8m), the latter probably being original although widened (Wth 5.8m) and with a causeway (Wth 4.5m). On the N-facing slope of an E-W ridge. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 48m N-S; 42m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-3m; int. H 0.3-0.4m; ext. H 0.6-1.2m) NW-E-SW, with a fosse visible as a band of rushes (Wth 2-3m) NW-E-SE. The site is truncated by a N-S field bank at W (L 30m), and the fosse is re-cut as a drain SE-SW. The entrance (Wth 1.8m) and causeway (Wth 3.5m) are at E.
