H 0.35m at E to 0.8m at W; ext. H 0.4m at E to 0.9m at S) NE-S-WNW and a scarp (H 0.5m) elsewhere. There is no visible entrance, but a NW-SE drystone wall and townland boundary with Toormore overlies the interior towards the perimeter at E and a NE-SW wall overlies the perimeter at NW. A tongue of unexcavated material (dims. 2.2m N-S; 1m E-W; H 1m) attached to the E side of the pit is said locally to be where Mass was celebrated.
