D-shaped grass-covered area with the straight edge at S (dims 20.5m NE-SW; 18m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.5m at WSW to 7.8m at NW; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 58m) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 3-5m; H 0.3-1m) WSW-N-E, and elsewhere by a partly natural scarp. There is no visible entrance, but its SE quadrant is overlain by walls of a subrectangular field (RO016-030002-) (int. dims 25.4m N-S; 21.2m E-W) defined by a stone spread (Wth 1-1.4m; H 0.2m) which has pushed out the perimeter of the cashel E-S, with traces of a second field attached to the S. H 1.6m) which is reduced to a scarp (H1.1m) NE-SSE, separated by a fosse (Wth of top 6-6.5m; Wth of base 2.5-4.7m; D 0.55-0.7m) from an outer bank (Wth 3.7m; ext. H 0.4m) which only survives ESE-SSW.
