At the crest of the S-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30.1m E-W; 27.9m N-S) defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 3-4m; Wth of top 1.6-2m; int. H 0.4-0.9m; ext. H 1.1-1.7m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.1m) SW-WNW. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, but a collapsed E-W field wall overlies the interior at S. H 1-1.6m) and hedge separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.3-6.3m; Wth of base 3.2-4m; D 0.4m at S to 1.9m at N) from an outer bank (Wth 1.6-3.7m; ext. H 0.4m at W to 1.4m at E), which has been removed NE-ESE (max. ext. dim. 53.7m N-S). The original entrance is not identified. Rath (RO032-052----) is c. 150m to the NNW.
