Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 55m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a fragment of a bank SE-W-NW on the 1927 ed. Situated on the E-facing slope of a low hill with the W-E Owenur River just to the N. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 42m) defined by slight traces of a fosse (Wth c. 2m) W-N-E. On a knoll on the NW-facing slope of a broad hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 35.6m N-S; 35m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.5-4m; int. H 0.2-0.8m; ext. H 1.2m at S to 1.8m at N), and a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 5-6.2m; D 0.2-0.4m) NE-S-W. The entrance (Wth 2.6m) and causeway (Wth 2.6m) are at NE, but there are secondary entrance gaps at SSE (Wth 5m) and NW (Wth 1.6m). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

Marked as a D-shaped area on the 1837 and 1927 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the top of the S-facing slope of an E-W ridge. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 75m E-W; 48m N-S) defined by a scarp and hedge (H 0.7-1.2m) E-S-W, with a fosse (Wth of top 6m; D 0.3m) and traces of an outer bank (Wth 3.5m; ext. H 0.2m) E-SE. There is a modern entrance (Wth 5m) at W. The monument is truncated by an E-W road at N and does not survive N of this feature.
