The slightly raised central area appears to be composed of large stones now hidden in long grass and may be result of field clearance. The E-facing scarp (H 1m; long axis N-S) located c. 5m in from the E bank separates the higher W portion of interior from the lower E portion. There are two other raths (SL027-105----; SL027-107----) c. 30m to W and c. 50m to E respectively.
