No fosse. Narrow break in bank at WSW (Wth. c. 1m) may mark original entrance. Field clearance including large stones has been thrown up on the bank and within the internal area. Situated in gently undulating pasture on level ground immediately to the NE of an enclosure (SL011-004002-). Remains consist of a roughly D-shaped slightly raised area (18m E-W; 14m N-S) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 1.6m; int. H 0.2m). There is no visible trace of a fosse at ground level. From W-NW and from SSE-SSW the bank is absent and the defining element is a scarp (H 0.3m). The enclosing element is absent SSW-WSW. The original entrance to the enclosure appears to be via a gap (Wth 2.5m) between a pair of outshot banks at NNW. The remains of a rectangular hut site (SL011-004003-) lie in the SW quadrant of the interior. Remains consist of a circular area (diam. 14m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.3m). There is no visible trace of a fosse at ground level. From N-E the bank is absent and the enclosing element is an inward facing scarp (H 0.2m). The enclosing element is absent SE-S. The original entrance is not recognisable. There is evidence of extensive disturbance in the interior with low irregular heaps of subsoil in the SW quadrant of the interior and against the internal face of the bank. Remains comprise of a roughly rectangular area (8m NE-SW; 5.5m NW-SE) defined on the NE site by the low footings of a drystone, rubble limestone, wall (Wth 1.2m; int. H 0.35m) and on the NW, SE and SW sides by a slight inward facing scarped edge (int. H 0.25m). A small section of degraded stone wall footings survives at the corner at S. The original entrance is not recognisable. The interior of the hut site is lower than the level of the enclosure. Small, low, circular, flat-topped mound of earth and stone (diam. 6.75m) defined from W-N-NNE and at ESE by a scarp faced with large stones or boulders (H 0.8m). Low, irregularly-shaped granite block (present max. exposed H 1.24m; dims. 0.82m x 0.28m), aligned E-W, and tilting appreciably to the W side. Pitched slate roof, clay ridge tiles, ashlar limestone verges with gabled springers, moulded cast-iron gutters on eaves corbel course. Painted textured-rendered walling, raised channel-jointed quoins, chamfered plinth. Pointed-arched window openings, channel-jointed block-and-start side dressings, hood moulds with square block stops, painted margin-paned one-over-one timber sash windows with coloured glass panes, secondary glazing. Triple lancet window to west gable over entrance, channel-jointed block-and-start side dressings, hood moulding with square block stops, painted margin-paned timber fixed lights to west gable, pointed-arched stained glass leaded light window to east gable. Pointed-arched door openings to north entrance porch and west elevation, opening to porch with splayed reveals, opening to west with stepped splayed reveals, hardwood vertically-sheeted double doors c. 2000. Single-aisled interior, pointed chancel arch, replacement timber fittings including interior doors, timber balcony to east end with open balustrade to front, timber sheeted ceiling.
