There is no fosse visible at ground level. The scarped edge, although very uneven, is best preserved SW-NE. From NE-SW the scarped edge has been cut back and straightened. Detached multi-bay two-storey rendered house, built c. 1880. Gabled single-storey porch to north end of east (front) elevation, pedimented projection to north end of west (rear) elevation. Pitched slate roof, clay ridge tiles, unpainted smooth-rendered chimneystacks with yellow clay pots, concrete verges to gables, cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted smooth-rendered walling, painted quoins to gables, painted timber decorative barges to porch. Square-headed window openings, painted stone sills, uPVC casement windows c. 1995. Segmental-headed entrance opening to north side of porch, hardwood panelled door with sidelights and overlight c. 1980.
