In pasture, on a low rise. A slightly raised oval area (38m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth 5.6m; int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.95m) with a flat-bottomed external fosse (Wth 7.5m; D 0.3m) NE-N. An E-W field boundary crosses the fosse at S. The edges of the rath are covered with overgrowth. There is a souterrain (SL037-074002-) inside the bank at NW. Two parallel N-S field boundaries extend to N from the NE edge of the rath. Another rath (SL037-075----) lies c. 100m to ESE. A rectangular stone-built chamber (7m NE-SW; 2m NW-SE; H 1.7m) with corbelled walls and a lintelled roof. The chamber is partially filled with stones at the NE end and has a small annexe (Wth 0.4m) extending from its W corner. A silted-up creepway (Wth 0.55m; L 4m) is evident in the SE wall. At the SE end it turns at right angles towards NE, leading to possible second chamber or entrance. An external flat-bottomed boggy fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.9m) is evident SSE-NE. Bank linear along W and N sides where field boundaries (on N-S and E-W axes) are adjacent to W and N. Other field boundaries extend from the rath to NE, E, SE and SW. The edge of the rath is covered with overgrowth. A rath (SL037-074001-) lies c. 100m to WNW. An external flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 4.7m; D 0.45m) is evident W-NW and NE-E. There is a possible souterrain (SL037-076002-) in the W half of the interior. Some hazel and hawthorn trees grow on the rath. There is a quarry hole to NE and an E-W field boundary to N.
