The S half of the enclosure has since been removed. The remains comprise a slightly raised, semi-circular area (dims. 19m E-W; 10m N-S) defined by scarp (H 0.6m). In pasture, located on a terrace, on the lower NE-facing slopes of a limestone hill named Red Hill on the 1913 OS 6-inch map. This enclosure is not shown on the 1837 OS 6-inch map; it is shown on the 1913 edition as a penannular hachured area, open to SE, with a cashel (SL019-017001-) immediately to E. Sub-rectangular or polygonal area (28m NNW–SSE; c. 15m ENE–WSW) defined at SE–NE by a low, grass-covered, stony bank (Wth 1.8-2m), possibly a ruined wall. On the E side, the enclosure is defined by a rising slope which incorporates the ruined wall of the cashel (SL019-017001-). The S half of the interior is flat, and at a higher level than the N half which slopes down to N. There is an entrance gap or break (Wth 1.8m) at W. A relict field wall, visible as a grass-covered stony rise (Wth c. 1.6m), extends to NW from the NW corner of the enclosure. The date and function of this enclosure is unclear but it appears to post-date the cashel. In pasture, located on the level W end of a limestone terrace, on the lower NE-facing slopes of a limestone hill named Red Hill on the 1913 OS 6-inch map. The terrace is defined on the NW–N by a steep, almost vertical drop (H c. 5m) broken by limestone outcropping. Broadly oval area (22m N–S; c. 26m E–W) defined by a ruined stone wall. The collapsed wall is visible as a low, sod-covered stony rise (Wth c. 3m). On its inner edge it is more or less flush with interior ground level but it has a more pronounced external slope (ext. H 0.6-0.8m). At NNE–NE several in situ limestone blocks are visible, representing the basal course of the external wall face. The original entrance may be at SSW where there is a low area or gap (Wth 2m) in the wall. The grass-covered interior has a slight slope down to E. Immediately to W of the cashel, the terrace drops to a lower level, where there is an enclosure (SL019-017----).
