This monument has been levelled. Remains comprise a slightly raised D-shaped area (24m N–S), with the straight side, at W, formed by a N-S field boundary. H 1.6-1.7m) which appears to have had an internal stone kerb. The bank is low and partly levelled on the E half of the rath. A break in the bank (Wth 1.4m) at SW may represent the original entrance. A narrow line of stones, protruding from the sod, extends E-W across the S half of the interior. A field fence/townland boundary, on a N–S axis, bisects the E half of the rath. In pasture, straddling a low rise on the S edge of a NNW-SSE ridge. Slightly raised circular area (diam. 35m) enclosed by a sod-covered stone bank (Wth 4.7m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 0.9m at E, 1.8m at SW). The stone bank has a broad external slump, enhanced on the S half by the natural fall of ground. A later stone field boundary overlies the remnants of the stone bank at SW–NE. In the centre of the interior, there is a roughly circular sod-covered raised feature (diam. 5m; H 0.35-0.4m) with a central hollow (diam. 1.8m). Roughly circular, sod-covered mound (c. 6m E–W; c. 4.5m N–S; H 0.5m) abutted at NW by remnants of a later field bank (Wth 1m; H 0.4m). Angular stone fragments in dark, charcoal flecked soil are exposed in the side of the mound where a small area of sod has been eroded away. A field drain is located 5m to N. There are two fulachtaí fia (SL018-090001-; SL018-090001-) immediately to N of the field drain. Square-headed window openings, limestone sills, uPVC casement windows c. 1995. Window opening to east side of south elevation converted to door opening c. 1990, hardwood vertically-sheeted double doors, plain-glazed overlight. Square-headed door openings to projecting porch at east and west, hardwood vertically-sheeted doors c. 1990. Boundary wall with limestone stile to south-west and wrought-iron gate to west. Detached stone Roman Catholic church, built c. 1870. Cruciform plan, five-bay nave with breakfront to north gable, two-bay transepts projecting to east and west, slightly projecting chancel to south, single-storey gable-fronted porches to north sides of transepts, single-storey pitched roof sacristy to south-west. Pitched slate roofs, clay roll-top ridge tiles, chamfered ashlar stone verges with wrought-iron finials to transepts, porches and sacristy, stone cross to chancel, bellcote with bell to north gable, half-round cast-iron gutters on exposed rafter ends, single ashlar limestone chimneystack to sacristy. Uncoursed rubble limestone walling, buttresses with splayed caps to transepts, porches and nave, splayed plinths.
