Situated on a slight rise, on slight SW-facing slope, in gently undulating pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 23m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.7m int. H 0.2m). No fosse is visible at ground level. From SW-NE, the bank is absent and the site is defined by a scarp. Occasional large blocks of limestone (up to 0.5m square) are located at the base of the bank and scarped edge that seem to be placed as rough revetting. A rectangular quarry hole (6m N-S; 3m E-W; D 0.4m) is located in the interior of the rath on the E side. A circular annex is located on the SW consisting of a roughly crescent-shaped raised area (N-S 16m; E-W 12m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.95m) E-S and by a scarp (ext. H 1.2m) S-N. From N-NE, the edge of the annex is defined by a gentle slope up into the interior of the rath. From NE-E, the edge of the annex is defined by the bank of the rath. The interior of the annex is 1.4m lower than the interior of the rath. The original entrance to the rath or the annex are not recognisable. Compiled by: Patrick F. In pasture, adjacent to a field boundary on the middle of the S side of the field. Located on the NW edge of a shallow, natural depression of wet ground. An E–W property boundary immediately to S appears to follow the line of a stream/drain. This fulacht fia is evident as a low, compact roughly circular mound (diam. 8m; H 0.5m), with a gently domed profile. It is composed of a dense concentration of angular sandstone fragments in a dark soil. There is a slight depression on the S side, facing the wet ground, which probably marks the location of the trough.
