Timoney (1984, 322, no. 3) describes this as follows: ‘This ring-barrow on flat ground has been ploughed down to a considerable extent and is perceptible only under a low setting sun. The total diameter appears to be in the region of 18.50 m. On the southwest side the bank remains to a height of only 13 cm. This is surrounded by a 3 m wide by 15 cm deep fosse and a bank, 3.50 m wide which averages 20 cm in height but is at most 30 cm high. Burenhult (1980:1, 93, 107) includes this within Strutture 13, Knocknahur North, recte Seafield, a group of five structures, all of which registered very low phosphate values. This would appear to be one of the structures included in map 26 (Burenhult 1980:1, 109), the other being unknown to the writer. However recent ploughing for the development of this field for sports has destroyed all of the surface except for the two Seafield barrows listed herein (3).’ Compiled by: Paul Walsh Date of upload: 28 January 2014 - SL014-195: Enclosure, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CSL014-195----. Timoney (1984, 322, no. 4) describes this as follows: ‘The total diameter of this ring-barrow, sited on flat ground, is 15 m. A circular mound, 5 m in diameter and 40 cm high, is surrounded by a "U"-bottomed fosse 2.70 m wide and 35 cm deep and this in turn by a bank 2.30 m wide and 40 cm high. The south side of the bank has been disturbed by the building of a modern field bank. The developments of the field mentioned above under Seafield I have caused the removal of the top part of the bank and the barrow-proper for most of the northwest third of the monument. Burenhult (1980:1, 93, 107) includes this within Structure 13, Knocknahur North, recte Seafield, a group of five structures, all of which registered very low phosphate values.’ Compiled by: Paul Walsh Date of upload: 28 January 2014 - SL020-007001: Ringfort - cashel, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CSL020-007001-. The source of this record is recorded simply as ‘Burenhult 1980’ (SMR file). It would appear to refer to Structure 24 recorded in Field XIV on Map 3 (Burenholt 1980, 86) as the adjoining Structure 26 corresponds with the ring barrow (SL020-016----). Burenhult refers to these ‘structures’ as an ‘assembly of earthworks’ with ‘little or no relation to each other (functionally or chronologically) but with overall morphological similarities’ (1980, 93). It is listed as ‘Structure 24. Knocknahur North’ in the list (ibid., 94). It is mentioned again with reference to phosphate surveys undertaken in Field XIV but no further details are recorded (ibid., 105). A field inspection in 1991 failed to locate this ‘structure’/’earthwork’. The precise nature of this ‘structure’ is unknown and a proper elucidation of this feature must await further investigation. Timoney (1984, 322, no. 5) describes this as follows: ‘The total diameter of this barrow, sited on the crest of a glacial ridge, is 21m. A central platform, 6.60m in diameter and 70cm high, is surrounded by a fosse, 2.90m wide and 20cm deep and this in turn by a bank 1.70m wide by 25cm high. There is a bank, 2.50m wide and 60cm high, along part of the northern edge of the central platform. Parts of the west and south sides of this monument have been disturbed in antiquity and the break in the outer bank does not appear to be original. Land improvements in 1982 resulted in the destruction of the outer bank. Burenhult (1980, 94) lists this as Structure 26, Knocknahur North, recte Breeoge. It is within Phosphate Field XIV. Only very small increases of phosphate values were recorded (Burenhult 1980:1, 105).’ Compiled by: Paul Walsh Date of upload: 28 January 2014 - SL020-279: Standing stone - pair, https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8&query=18a4b61b268-layer-9%2CSMRS%2CSL020-279----. A parcel is the land of a title, not an address. The owner's name is in the Land Registry of Tailte Éireann: a copy of the folio can be ordered on landdirect.ie, for a fee; this site names no owner. A price is the price recorded for a past sale, not a valuation.
