Situated on a NW-facing slope in gently undulating pasture. An oval area (diam. 36m N-S; 50m E-W) enclosed by an earth and gravel bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.32m; ext. H 1.37m) and a shallow external fosse (Wth 2.7m; D 0.37m) which is most visible at N and S. The interior at N is slightly raised. A gap (Wth 2m) in the SE sector appears to have been broken through the bank with other breaks in the bank at NW (Wth 3.1) and WNW (Wth 1.8m). It is possible that the NW gap is the original entrance, somewhat eroded by cattle and presently blocked with scrub. A parcel is the land of a title, not an address. The owner's name is in the Land Registry of Tailte Éireann: a copy of the folio can be ordered on landdirect.ie, for a fee; this site names no owner. A price is the price recorded for a past sale, not a valuation.
