Situated towards the base of a SW-facing slope in very undulating terrain, under tillage. A roughly circular site (diam. 30m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.67m) and fosse (Wth 3.6m). There is a possible causewayed entrance (Wth 3.6m) at S and the fosse is not evident in this sector. The site is quite overgrown around the edges and scrub encroaches on the interior which slopes markedly to the SW. A stone wall runs concentric to the N half of the site. Located on a SW-facing slope in a depression between two natural hillocks in undulating terrain. Indicated on both the 1st (1840) and 1901-5 eds. of the OS 6-inch maps as a small circular enclosure. The site has been levelled with only faint traces of a circular enclosure barely visible. Mis-identified as a natural hillock immediately NE of a site in the Ikerrin Survey (Stout 1984, 20).
