Though levelled, the outline at E and S is visible as a broad, curving rise in the field (diam. c. 86m NE-SW; c. 90m NW-SE). The site was inspected in 1964 and was described as a small, irregularly shaped field with a 'fairly massive' straight bank on the E side (OPW file, 1964). Although the site has been levelled the outline is still defined by shallow fosses. Probably a trivallate ringfort.
