The site has been levelled but is visible as a roughly circular raised area (diam. 31m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.26m), a fosse (Wth 5.7m), visible as differential grass growth, and an outer bank (Wth 3.5-5m) which is only visible as differential grass growth in the NW quadrant. Situated on a gentle E-facing slope in pasture. An irregular, roughly D-shaped enclosure (diam. 47m N-S; 42.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.2m; int. H 1.86; ext. H 2m), flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 3.5m; D 1.8m) and outer bank (Wth 2.3m; ext. H 0.64m). The bank at the straight SE side has been levelled but is visible as differential grass growth. At NE the bank has been levelled and quarried into but the fosse and outer bank appear as grass-marks. Field boundaries abut the outer bank at W and SW.
