In grassland, in a low-lying field with a stream running parallel to the NE side. A square area (42m NW-SE; 42m NE-SW) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 6m; int. H 0.94m; ext. H 2.24m) and wide, flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 4.8m; D 1.82m) with counterscarp bank (Wth 4.3m; H 0.58m). The counterscarp bank on the NW side is incorporated into a disused trackway. H 0.4m) and outer fosse (Wth 1.2m; D 0.5m) which is mostly rubble filled or overgrown and destroyed at E. No entrance feature visible.
