It is visible on an aerial photograph (CUCAP APA 18, 13/07/1966) as extant, enclosed by mature trees, but is not visible on a later aerial photograph (ASIAP (333) 35, 05-10-2002). According to local information, monuments in this area were levelled as part of land improvements undertaken in 1984-5. This enclosure is not visible at ground level. Depicted on the 1st (1840) edition OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (dims c. 40m NE-SW; c. 35m NW-SE) and on the 1904 edition only the southern arc from E-WSW is shown with what appears to be a pond at the base of the bank in the SSE. The southern arc is visible on an aerial photograph (GSI R.437/6, 16/04/1974). The remains of the enclosure were possibly levelled during land improvements c. 1984-5 (local information). It is not visible above ground. H 0.15m) N-NNE and traces of scarp (Wth 2.5m; H 0.15m) NNE-SE. A townland boundary respects the monument from SE-W. It is visible on an aerial photograph (GSI R.514/13, 16/04/1974) as a circular enclosure. It was possibly levelled during land improvements c. 1984-5 (local information) and is defined only by a field boundary SE-W on a recent aerial photograph (ASIAP (116) 23 & 24; ASIAP (117)18). There is a ringfort (TS059-117----) c. 70m to the SE. In improved pasture, on a S-facing slope with excellent views of the Galtee Mountains. A large sub-oval area (dims. 73m NNW-SSE; 60m ENE-WSW) with rounded corners, defined by a bank (Wth 6.35m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.3m) NE-ESE which is reduced to scarp (Wth 5.75m; H 0.8m) ESE-NE and an external fosse (Wth 7.4-8.5m; D 0.15-0.2m) from SW-SE. The denuded bank is composed of gravel. The interior is uneven on the surface and slopes down gently to the S.
