On flat crest of hill in undulating terrain, under pasture. On one of the highest hills in the vicinity with excellent views. A limestone standing stone (0.57m x 0.34m; H 2.4m) with a flat top, roughly rectangular in plan and orientated N-S. It leans towards the W. The surface is very weathered, with vertical depressions on the S face which appear to be the result of natural erosion. It is also partially covered in lichen. There are loose stones around base to the E and W which are probably from small scale field clearance. The field boundary N of the standing stone has been removed. A price is the price recorded for a past sale, not a valuation.
