The site has been levelled and now consists of a circular area (diam. 41.2m N-S; 44.4m E-W) defined by a ring of differential growth indicating the former fosse (Wth 2.5m). The site was extant in 1970 when it was described as a circular area enclosed by a bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.8m) and fosse (Wth 3.6m; D 1.2m) (OPW file, 1970). A roughly circular area (diam. 33.5m E-W), the S portion being truncated by a road on a NW-SE axis. The site is defined by an internal scarp (H 1.19m), a fosse (Wth 7.5m; D 1.24m) and an earthen outer bank (Wth 3.9m; ext. H 0.78m). There is a causeway in the NE quadrant.
