There is an entrance gap (Wth 1.8m) and causeway (Wth 4.4m) across the fosse at E. The interior slopes appreciable from SW to NE. A hut site (WM007-079001-) visible in the NW quadrant of the interior. A field fence intersects the monument at W. The internal face of the ringfort bank forms the NE wall of the hut. Situated on NE facing slope of rising ground with good views from N-E-S-SW. Ringfort (WM007-079----) 580m WSW. Lough Derravaragh 1km to NE. Levelled ringfort described in 1974 as a sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 28m) enclosed by a very poorly preserved earthen bank, with traces of a slight fosse at W. The interior slopes slightly from NW-SE, and has traces of cultivation ridges which run NE-SW. A post 1837 field fence bisects the site from NE-SW. A modern house has been built to the E of the monument. The ringfort has been levelled and is not visible on the 2005 OSI aerial photographs and on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
