Three pieces of brushwood in the drain face (Wth 2.86m; D 0.09m). The brushwood is irregularly laid and widely spaced, with gaps in excess of 1m between the elements. The site is situated in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum.

- Cornaher House, country house, 1800–1830, Regional interest, registry number 15403810, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=WM&regno=15403810. Detached two-storey seven-bay country house, built c.1815, having three-bay bows to either side of central entrance bay on main façade (southwest). Single-bay gable-fronted breakfront to the centre of the northwest elevation. Now in use as an hotel/guest house. Pitched natural slate roof, partially hidden raised parapet with cut stone coping, with a pair of rendered chimneystacks to the centre and cast-iron rainwater goods. Hipped natural slate roofs over bow-fronted sections. Pebbledashed walls with raised cut stone quoins to the corners. Square-headed window openings having cut stone sills and with six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows to the ground floor openings and six-over-three pane timber sliding sash windows to the first floor openings. Timber casement windows to side (northwest). Square-headed doorway to the centre of the main façade (southwest) having a glazed timber door with plain overlight. Limestone steps to the front. Square-headed doorcase to the projecting breakfront to the northwest elevation having a cut limestone surround, replacement glazed timber door and with a spider’s web fanlight over (set in square-headed overlight). Set well back from road in extensive mature grounds. Sited on an elevated position in the landscape with extensive views to the south. Complex of outbuildings and modern farm buildings to the east. Main entrance gates to the west. Located to the southwest of Tyrrellspass.
- Christ Church (Newtown), church/chapel, 1810–1840, Regional interest, registry number 15403812, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=WM&regno=15403812. Detached Church of Ireland church, built between c.1810 and completed in 1834, comprising a three-bay hall to the northwest, a shallow chancel to the rear (southeast) and a three-stage tower on square plan to entrance front (northwest) having corner turrets (rising to become pinnacles) and a castellated parapet. Single-storey vestry to the rear (southeast). Now vacant and disused. Pitched natural slate roofs with raised verges having ashlar coping over and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls with extensive cut limestone trim, including clasping buttresses between openings to sides of hall, corner buttresses and moulded ashlar limestone string courses to tower. Pointed-arch window openings with Y-tracery, diamond-paned windows, cut limestone surrounds and with moulded hoodmouldings over. Three graded lancet openings to chancel gable having tooled limestone surrounds with stained glass windows. Pointed-arch openings with wooden louvers to belfry. Pointed-arch door opening to south side of tower having cut limestone surround, timber panelled double-doors and with a hoodmoulding over. Interesting interior with cast-iron braced roof, timber panelled ceiling and collection of wall-mounted marble memorials. Set back from road in mature grounds to the southwest of Tyrrellspass. Site bounded to northwest by a rendered wall with limestone coping over. Main entrance gates to the northwest comprising a pair of cut limestone gate piers (on square-plan and having moulded capstones over with fluted friezes) supporting a pair of cast-iron gates.
