A raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 45m N-S; 48m E-W) enclosed by a low earthen bank and a shallow external fosse. The bank is best preserved from N-E-SE and from SE-SSW and reduced to a scarp elsewhere. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running WNW-ESE across the interior, which slopes to the N. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan as a circular shaped earthwork annotated as ‘fort’. This site has been levelled, and all that remains is a flat oval; area on top of the hillock. Local information suggests that this site was levelled in the mid-1960s. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running NE-SW across the interior, which rises towards the centre. A field fence running NE-SW intersects the monument at NE. A large sub-circular shaped slightly raised area (approx. diam. 57m NW-SE; 61m NE-SW) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and a wide, very shallow external fosse. The bank has been reduced to a scarp in places. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.6m) at NE. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running WNW-ESE across the interior, which rises towards the centre.
