Situated towards the E edge of a broad N-S ridge. The cropmark of a bivallate enclosure (int. diam. c. 50m; ext. diam. c. 75m) is visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP, AVK 87, BDQ 101, BDO 71; GB89.AN34; ASIAP (101) 36 7; (103) 0 5). The outer fosse feature is slighter than the inner, and there is a large pit at the centre (MM (41) 16-19). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). Single-arch road bridge over stream, extant 1902. Part creeper- or ivy-covered walls between part creeper- or ivy-covered battered abutment walls with lichen-covered coping to parapets. Single segmental arch with lichen-spotted "Old Red Sandstone" ashlar voussoirs. Sited spanning stream.
- All Saints' Church (Killesk), church/chapel, 1875–1880, Regional interest, registry number 15704409, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=WX&regno=15704409. Detached seven-bay double-height Representative Church Body Church of Ireland church, designed 1877; built 1877-8; dated 1878, on a rectangular plan comprising five-bay double-height nave opening into two-bay double-height chancel (east) with single-bay single-storey projecting porch (north-west). Restored, 2007-8. Replacement pitched slate roofs with part perforated crested terracotta ridge tiles, cut-limestone "Cavetto" coping to gables on "Hollow" kneelers including cut-limestone "Cavetto" coping to gable to entrance (west) front on "Hollow" kneelers with buttressed gabled bellcote to apex framing cast-bronze bell, and uPVC rainwater goods on cut-limestone "Bowtell" corbels. Part repointed tuck pointed snecked "Old Red Sandstone" walls on cut-limestone chamfered plinth with dwarf buttresses including clasping dwarf buttresses to corners having cut-limestone "slated" coping. Lancet window openings in bipartite arrangement below cinquefoil "Roses", cut- or hammered limestone block-and-start surrounds having chamfered reveals framing iron mesh storm panels over fixed-pane fittings having stained glass margins centred on square glazing bars. Pointed-arch window opening to chancel (east), lichen-spotted cut- or hammered limestone block-and-start surround having chamfered reveals framing iron mesh storm panels over fixed-pane fittings having stained glass margins centred on leaded stained glass panels. Square-headed off-central door opening approached by two cut-granite steps with concealed dressings framing timber boarded or tongue-and-groove timber panelled door having overlight. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing replacement aluminium casement windows. Square-headed window openings (east) with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing one-over-one timber sash windows. Set in landscaped grounds with rendered piers to perimeter having domed pyramidal capping supporting looped flat iron double gates.
