It was described in 1939 as a mound of chared stones and black earth (dims c. 8m NW-SE; c. 3.5m NE-SW; H c. 0. 8m) (OSFM). It was not visible at ground level in pasture in 1987. Fulacht fia (WX006-025----) is c. 100m to the SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). It is also visible on Google Earth (14/07/2018). Archaeological testing (19E0808) by c. 30m to the NW at the closest point produced no related material (excavations.ie 2020:060).
