Situated on a ridge running NE-SW. A massive granite boulder (dims. 4.3m x 3.2m; H 2.4m), supposed to be the hurling ball of Fionn Mac Cumhaill; possibly a glacial erratic. On a relatively steep W facing slope of Cronebane with dramatic views to the W, including Croghanmoira, and Glenmalure. A short quartz pillar (H 1m) with long axis oriented roughly N-S.
