The graveyard (WI035-043002-) is a quadrangular enclosure (dims. c. 45m N-S; c. 35m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; int. H 1-1.2m; ext. H c. 1.4-1.7m) faced externally by a vertical drystone wall. The N, E and S walls are straight with a modern gate towards the S end of the E wall. The W wall is slightly curved. Detached four-bay with transept and two-bay chancel single-storey Catholic church, dated 1862. The church is constructed in rock-faced squared rubble with ashlar dressings. Built in French Gothic style it is articulated with reducing buttresses and is cruciform in plan; the sacristy is octagonal in plan with a pyramidal roof. The three stage tower has a broach spire and reducing buttresses. The timber sheeted door has a segmental-arched head and is set within a gabled porch at the south end of the nave. Window openings are pointed-arched with a mixture of tracery designs and extensive pictorial stained glass. The pitched roof is slated with natural slate and cast-iron rainwater goods. Three-arch road bridge, dated 1868. The bridge is constructed in ashlar granite with three elliptical arches. It is inscribed "OVOCA BRIDGE/H. BRETT C.E. ENGINEER/M. CLARKE CONTRACTOR/A.D. 1868". It carries the main road over the Avoca River. Detached two-bay single-storey house, built c.1870, now in use as a shop. The house is finished in render with block and start quoins. There is a flight of stone steps which rise to the front door. The c.1920s shopfront has a central door with shop windows to either side; these are flanked by narrow timber pilasters. The other window is now blocked with an additional sign. The pitched roof in finished with natural slate. The chimneystack has a slightly corbelled cap and no pot. The signboard is painted. The chimneystack is rendered with a plain cap and clay pots. To the north elevation there is a later single-storey hipped roof extension.
