To the west is a large two-storey addition built c.1900 while to the north is a single-storey addition built sometime between 1920 and 1940. The panelled door is recessed within a panel, which itself is recessed within a two-storey projecting gabled bay. The door has plain sidelights and fanlight. Windows are flat-headed and are six over six sash with margins. A projecting moulded sill course extends around the building. At first floor level the stylised moulded keystones were probably added in c. 1920; it is likely that the render was renewed at that time. The pitched roof is slated and there are cast-iron rainwater goods. The chimneystacks to the front of the building have been removed. The pitched roof is finished in natural slate with cast-iron rainwater goods. With the exception of the loss of the original altar and pulpit, the interior is well preserved. To the east side of the front is a four-stage tower with a hipped roof. The panelled double front door are part glazed and are set within a circular-shaped flat-roofed porch. Window openings are all flat-headed with the exception of the upper floors of the tower; these are segmental-arched. Frames are two over two and one over one timber sash. The hipped roof is finished with natural slate and cast-iron rainwater goods.
