Detached multiple-bay two-storey house, built 1922. There are large irregular shaped wings to the north rear. There is a long two-storey house built in the 1990s to the rear of the house. It is finished in render. To the south front there are two two-storey bow-fronted bays. Windows are casement. The hipped roof is finished in natural slate with cast-iron rainwater goods. Detached four-bay single-storey gate lodge built c.1905. The gate lodge is constructed in brick. The sheeted timber door is set within a square-headed opening. Window openings are generally square headed with a mixture of top-hung and timber sash. Some are set within canted single-storey bays with hipped roofs. The chimneystacks are in brick with slightly corbelled caps. The pitched roof is finished with natural slate and has cast-iron rainwater goods. The gate lodge is set adjacent but outside the gates of Mountusher House.
