Detached multiple-bay part four-storey part three and a half-storey part render part brick eclectic style hotel, built c.1900 to designs by McCurdy & Mitchell. Four-storey projecting end bays are flat-roofed with decorative parapet walls; windows to this section are all one over one timber sash and with the exception of the first floor (which is segmental-arched) are flat-headed. The central section has a mansard roof with gabled dormer windows each with paired one over one sash windows with segmental-arched heads. First and second floor rooms access the somewhat Regency-style balcony through replacement glazed doors with plain margins and plain fanlights; segmental arch headed decoration to the first floor railings. The ground floor section below the balconies is now filled with replacement multiple paned windows and entrance screen. Pitched roof is finished with artificial slate with uPVC rainwater goods. This house was added at right angles to its neighbour taking advantage of the sea view. The pitched roof is finished in natural slate and is almost hidden by a high parapet wall. The house is double-piled and has tall rendered chimneystacks one with a corbelled cap and the other with a recent concrete cope stone. The house faces onto Cliff Road and is slightly set back behind a low rendered wall with pebble decoration coping. - Coolnagreina, house, 1870–1890, Regional interest, registry number 16304018, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=WI®no=16304018. Detached two-bay (three-bay deep) two-storey house, built c.1880. The four panelled door is framed with panelled pilasters and has a plain fanlight all enclosed in a moulded surround. To the North is a two over two timber sash window with moulded surround, now missing blocking course and projecting cornice. Other windows are two over two and have no surrounds. The roof is hipped and slated and there are two rendered chimneystacks with corbelled caps and mainly matching clay pots. It is set back slightly behind a low rendered wall with square gate pillars with pyramidal caps and with a cast and wrought-iron gate. Unusually narrow but deep plan which may suggest that the building was re-orientated at some time. - Greystones Presbyterian Church, church/chapel, 1885–1890, Regional interest, registry number 16304019, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=WI®no=16304019. Detached multiple-bay single-storey rendered Presbyterian church built in 1887. The east gable faces Trafalgar Road and has rendered buttresses to either corner and a simple panelled tracery window with moulded dripstone and label stops. To the eastside of the south face is a gabled entrance projection. To the westside are two short transepts, one to the north facade and one to the south. To north and south facades are three rounded trefoil headed lancet windows with buttresses between each. To the rear, ancillary accommodation is contained in recent additions. Natural slate to the roof and a mixture of cast-iron and uPVC rainwater goods. Decorative metal finial to east gable peak. The church is set back behind a recent roughcast wall and wrought-iron railings. - Carrig Eden, house, 1850–1870, Regional interest, registry number 16304020, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=WI®no=16304020. Detached eight-bay two-storey rendered former pair of houses, built c.1860, now in use as a school. A flat-roofed single-storey c.1920 central projecting porch with two paired fixed windows and castellated parapet sits in front of a two-storey recessed bay. To either side are two six over six windows with a further two similar windows to a slightly recessed flat-roofed addition to the far east side. Windows to the first floor are six over six or four over four; all to ground floor are timber sash while those to first are uPVC. Natural slate covering to the pitched roof, with metal rainwater goods. Two rendered chimneystacks with corbelled caps to the front section with additional stacks to the rear. To east and west facades there are numerous mainly flat-roofed additions with multiple-paned top-hung uPVC windows. The building is set back behind a rubble stone wall with square gate pillars with pyramidal caps. Former gardens are now in use as playgrounds. - Fintan Mara and Dysart, house, 1900–1920, Regional interest, registry number 16304021, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=WI®no=16304021. Semi-detached six-bay two-storey rendered pair of semi-detached houses, built c. 1910, in a simplified Domestic Revival style. The house to the south side had a four panelled door with plain sidelights to the north side and a projecting two-storey structural gabled bay to the south. One over one paired sash timber to each floor of the bay with an additional window above the door. A shared balcony spans between the bays and has a decorative cast-iron guard rail. The neighbouring house is a mirror image but has uPVC windows. Slated pitched roof with overhanging eaves and bargeboards with cast-iron rainwater goods. - Greenogue and Wayside, house, 1910–1930, Regional interest, registry number 16304022, https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=WI®no=16304022. To the north side is a two-storey canted bay with gabled roof with exposed decorative timber brackets. All windows have flat heads and have one over one uPVC replacement frames. Pitched roof is covered with Rosemary tiles with cast-iron rainwater goods. Vertical Rosemary tile with decorative pattern to the gable peak of the bays. The church is constructed in rubble basalt with granite dressings. The plan is cruciform with double-gabled transepts and nave with a gabled chancel projection with a slightly lower ridge level. A small gabled porch contains the timber sheeted entrance door which is set within a pointed arch headed opening with stone drip moulding; directly over are paired lancet windows which in turn are surmounted by a small bell-cote. There are various window designs. Those to the original nave are either single or paired lancet with pointed arch heads while those to the transept gables are geometric tracery and those to the nave gable are triple lancet with the centre window slightly taller. All windows have moulded dripstones. All external corners have double reducing buttresses while the nave has buttresses between each window arrangement. The pitched roof is slated and rainwater goods are cast-iron.
