The proposed development is part of a larger overall development which will involve the installation of approximately 13km of underground electricity transmission cable from the permitted (wind farm) substation in the townland of Taghart South, County Cavan to the existing electricity substation in the townland of Meath Hill, County Meath and also extends into lands in the townlands of Drumgill, Cornahoova, Corratober, Ardagh and Meath Hill, County Meath, and installed within R165, L74021 and L7408 within the adjoining planning authority jurisdiction of Meath County Council. A concurrent planning application for that part of the overall development located within County Meath has been submitted to Meath County Council. This Planning application is accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment Report/Environmental Impact Statement which includes an assessment of the likely impacts of the proposed development, as a whole and in combination with the relevant off-site or secondary development which will occur as a direct result of the proposed development, including the wind farm development permitted pursuant to County Cavan Planning Register Reference 16/74 & An Bord Pleanala Reference PL02.247401. Significant further information and revised plans have been submitted
