There are balconies and terraces within the development. A total of 245 no. car parking spaces are provided and associated cycle parking spaces. Permission is also sought for a new pedestrian crossing point across Adamstown Avenue, bin storage facilities, site development and landscape works. Vehicular access to serve the development will be taken from the R120 Lock Road / Newcastle Road, via the access point permitted under SDZ04A/1. Site development and landscape works including the provision of the Railway Station Access Road from the Newcastle Road to a point of approx. 815 metres into the site, including provision for a bus turning route and lay-by/temporary terminus. Vehicular access shall be taken from the R120 Lock Road/Newcastle Road via a new junction layout with the Finnstown Cloisters housing scheme, opposite Finnslawn, including associated traffic management improvement measures. Permission is also sought for widening and upgrading of the R120 Lock Road/Newcastle Road over a distance of approx. 220 metres between a point approx. 35m south of the entrance to Finnstown House and Golf Course, and a point 93m south of the junction with the Finnstown Cloisters housing scheme, opposite Finnslawn.
