  Terraced four-bay four-storey mill, built c. 1870, comprising three-bay block with gabled single-bay block to right hand side. Now disused. Pitched slate roofs with cast-iron rainwater goods. Rubble stone walls with cut-stone quoins, cast-iron tie plates and render name fascia with raised lettering below first floor openings. Remains of hoist to gabled bay. Various timber windows, shutters and cast-iron bars to window openings. Timber matchboard doors to loading bay.

  Detached three- or four-bay two-storey market house, dated 1808, on a rectangular plan with single-bay two-storey advanced end bays. Destroyed, 1921. Reconstructed, 1931. Adapted as heritage centre, 1988. Hipped artificial slate roof with roughcast render to gablet and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls with rendered quoins. Cut-limestone piers to ground floor with limestone ashlar voussoirs and keystones. Cantilevered balustraded balcony to first floor with inscribed cut-limestone plaque (1966). Replacement fittings to all openings.

  Freestanding cut-limestone Hiberno Romanesque-style monument, erected 1903, by Joseph K. Bracken (1852-1904) of County Tipperary comprising cut-stone plinth, two-tier arcaded pedestal with plain and barley sugar columns, surmounted by carved limestone statue. Inset plaques to lower section of pedestal and low relief portraits to upper section of pedestal. Plaques inscribed in English, Irish and French. Celtic strap work to column capitals. Surrounded by cut-stone plinth with hooped railings. Erected in memory of the Manchester Martyrs.

  Attached three-bay three-storey cut-limestone bank, built 1930-1, to design by Adam Gerald Chaytor "Jack" Millar (1874-1957). Roof not visible. Recessed panels under ground floor windows, moulded chamfered surrounds to ground floor openings, string course with dentils between first and second floor, carved architraves to first floor, with eaves course and pediment above. Stone sills and replacement uPVC windows to upper floor openings. Timber panelled door with overlight and timber fixed windows to ground floor. Retaining interior features.

  Freestanding cruciform-plan double-height Roman Catholic church, built 1839-40, to design by William Henshaw Owen (1813-53), comprising three-bay side elevation, single-bay transepts, single-bay single-storey flat-roofed crenellated side chapel to left hand side and pair of gable-fronted two-bay single-storey sacristies to rear. Octagonal spire-topped single-bay four-stage tower, 1858-61, designed by James Joseph McCarthy (1817-82). Gabled porch addition to entrance gable. Pitched slate roof with cut-limestone copings. Cut-limestone chimneystacks to sacristies. Castellated parapet to tower and lucarnes to spire. Snecked limestone walls with stepped buttresses and crenellated and corbelled parapets. Rendered walls to rear. Rusticated limestone walls and cut-stone quoins to transept porches. Rose window with carved colonnette spokes and stained glass. Round-headed openings with cut-stone surrounds and stained glass windows. Tripartite window behind altar. Romanesque-style entrance, comprising cut-limestone walls with engaged colonnettes and archivolts, surrounding recessed timber matchboards double leaf doors. Retaining interior features including queen post truss timber roof structure with painted ceiling panels, cut-stone arcades to transepts and mosaic tiles to passageways between pews. Stained glass by Frederick Settle Barff (1823-86) of Dublin and Harry Clarke Stained Glass Studios (closed 1973) of Dublin. Cut-stone gate piers and plinth with cast-iron railings, wrought-iron lantern-holder and cut stone steps to site. Celtic cross grave markers to priests’ graves.

  Detached five-bay single- and two-storey former school, built c. 1875, comprising four-bay single-storey block with gabled porch and advanced gabled two-storey bay to left hand side. Four-bay two-storey extension added to rear, c. 1980. Now in use as community centre. Pitched slate roofs with cut-stone chimneystacks and gable copings with cross finials. Snecked limestone walls with cut-stone quoins. Chamfered stone sills and lintels to replacement windows, in tripartite arrangement to main block, and in bipartite arrangement to gabled bay and porch. Rubble stone boundary walls with cut-stone gate piers to site.

Rubble stone walls with cut-stone string courses and quoins to upper stage of tower. Pointed arch openings with limestone dressings and tracery to nave. Pointed arch and square-headed openings to tower with cast-iron quarry glazing, label mouldings to second stage openings and having louvers to third stage openings.   Remains of Kilrush House estate, built 1808; burnt 1837, including: Detached three-bay single-storey coursed rubble stone gate lodge with single-bay single-storey limestone cut-stone gabled projecting porch to centre, flanked by open verandas with limestone cut-stone octagonal-profile columns. Gateway with four limestone cut-stone piers having neo-Egyptian-style panelled piers and cast-iron gates. Section of rubble stone walled garden with segmental-arch opening having bellcote above.
