Access to the proposed development will be via a new spine road from the Carrigaline Road which will also serve possible future phases of development. The proposed roadworks include road widening and the provision of a new signalised junction opposite the existing entrance to Carrig na Curra. The ancillary site development works consist of the diversion of the existing Rafeen Trabeg 110 kV ESB electrical cables and the diversion and undergrounding of the existing 38 kV ESB electrical cables, the diversion of an existing stream and all ancillary ground works including car parking, fencing and landscaped linear wetland park. The proposed public transport interchange is located adjacent to the proposed neighbourhood centre and provides for 50 no. car parking spaces.
