On N side of Grange road, in N suburbs of Cork city; rectangular churchyard (c. 65m E-W; c. 50m N-S) defined by W and N by hedgerow; E by tree-topped earthen bank; S by stone wall. C of I church, still in use, at E end. This is chapel-at-ease in St Finbarrs parish, built in 1838 (Anon 1898-1900) and known as 'Holy Trinity, Frankfield'. Rectangular nave with shallow chancel; vestry at E end of N wall. Memorial inside church to Samuel Lane who "gave the ground for this church and church yard, and built the church 1838". Burials dating from late 19th and 20th century in churchyard.
