Description
Fulacht fiadh material found while carrying out test excavation at Milleencoola, Bantry Co. Cork. under licence 17E0444. Situated at the bottom of a large field of pasture and just to the south of a local road. A small stream runs just to the south of it. It had been highlighted by a geophysical survey- licence 17R0155. The full extent of this monument was not revealed but measures at least 12m E-W and 8m N-S.
