  Description

  An early report (NMI topographical files) suggest 'two crannogs' in Lough Adeery. There are no islands in the lake. The sites were not inspected and no further information could be got about these crannogs. It is possible that they are submerged. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
