Description
Detached complex of two-storey outbuildings, built c. 1800 and altered c. 1880, comprising five-bay two-storey outbuilding to the west with attached three-bay two-storey outbuilding to the east. Originally associated with Castle Shanaghan (demolished and replaced with modern dwelling). Pitched purple slate roof to main outbuilding to the west having with overhanging eaves with cut stone eaves course, clay ridge tiles, and with raised rendered verge and brick chimneystack to the west gable end. Pitched corrugated-metal roof to adjoining building to east with ashlar verge and rendered rubble stone chimneystack to the east gable end. Random rubble stone walls with flush ashlar and roughly dressed block-and-start quoins to corners. Square-headed window openings at ground floor level having roughly squared rubble stone voussoirs over and with remains of timber windows. Ocular window openings to first floor with red brick surrounds, now blocked. Square-headed doorways and loading bays (first floor level) with roughly dressed voussoirs and battened timber doors. External stone sets to north-west to first floor segment-headed door opening. Square-headed carriage-arches with roughly squared voussoirs, and with corrugated-metal and battened timber doors. Set perpendicular to laneway with rubble stone wall to south-west and set adjacent to the north of two-storey dwelling. Located in the rural countryside to the north-east of Letterkenny, and to the south of Ramelton.

Description
Detached multiple-bay two-storey rubble stone outbuilding, built c.1800, having slightly lower two or three-bay two-storey building attached to southeast end. Pitched purple slate roof with overhanging slab eaves, clay ridge tiles and cut-stone copings, brick chimneystack to northwest gable, and lacking rainwater goods. Lower-pitch corrugated-iron roof to addition with cut-stone copings to southeast gable and rubble stone chimneystack. Random rubble stone walls with dressed quoins. Front elevation has fairly regular placement of openings, square-headed to ground floor with rubble voussoirs and timber battened doors, and oculus openings to first floor with red brick surrounds and timber closures. External stone steps to northwest gable, giving access to camber-arch doorway in first floor with rubble voussoirs. Openings to rear elevation more irregular, and include pitching door to first floor, and are square-headed with timber lintels or rubble voussoirs.

Description
Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c. 1820. Pitched corrugated-metal roof with three rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows; enlarged window opening to the north end of the front elevation (east) having timber casement window. Square-headed doorway (offset to the south side of centre) having battened timber door and plain overlight. Set back from road in own grounds to the south of Ramelton having garden to front (east) and complex of single-storey outbuildings to the rear (west). Located a short distance to the west of Lough Swilly.
